Children
All our children’s classes will be held during the school year during the first service at 9a.m. only. The Nursery will be available during both the 9am and 10:45am services (and during 10am summer services). All children are welcome during both services to sit with their family. We have special events during the year for families and holidays.
*Our children’s staff have gone through a background check and follow our Church’s Safe Sanctuary Policies, so you can feel confident knowing that they are safe when you leave your precious child with us. A copy of this policy is available to read at the HUB. Additionally, we have a separate children’s wing along with a greeter at our check-in station to help provide a safe check-in/check-out experience.

Busy Bee Nursery (Birth - 3 Yrs)
We offer nursery care during both services. The children have group time listening to short Bible stories, music, snack and play time.
Noah’s Park (Age 4 - Kindergarten)
This class is an exciting place where children get hands-on learning about God and the Bible through stories, music and play. We also focus on our Compassion Child through giving and encouragement.
Faith Explorers (Grades 1-2)
Faith Explorers have fun learning about some of the Old Testament Bible stories and is designed to help children discover God’s love! Lessons include stories about Jesus, prayer, obedience, friendship and much more. They also work to memorize weekly key Bible verses. We also focus on our Compassion Child through giving and encouragement.
The Adventurers (Grades 3 - 4)
This class will focus on Jesus’s life. Beginning with his birth through the resurrection. They will learn and memorize Bible verses all year long. There is also a focus on serving like Jesus and participating in outreach projects and sponsoring and encouraging our Compassion Child.
Club 56 (Grades 5 - 6)
This is a club just for tweens. They focus on how God is working in their life through lessons and they learn about God’s word. They will learn and memorize Bible verses too. Our goal is that they will become confident using their Bibles. There is also a strong focus on serving like Jesus, by participating in several service projects annually and sponsoring and encouraging our Compassion Child.
Amanda Smith
Children's Director & Nursery Director
Amanda has served as our Nursery Director since 2021 and stepped into the role of Children’s Director in March 2025. Her heart for children and her love for sharing God’s truth shine through in everything she does. Amanda has also been an active part of church life in many other ways — she’s played on the FCC softball team since 2014, where she also spent a year as coach, serves on the Safety Team, helps with outreach programs, and is the Charter Representative for American Heritage Girls.
Originally from West Virginia, Amanda moved to New York in 2008. She is married to Kevin Smith, our Youth Director, and together they have four wonderful children — MacKenzie, Zaylee, Exander, and Hazel. When she’s not serving in ministry, Amanda enjoys crocheting, gardening, cooking, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
